Flooring Underlayment
CarpenterStone's TruCast Lightweight or our EarthBond Lightweight Pre-Slope are natural consideratiosn for lightweight flooring underlayment. It is
- very lightweight
- non-combustible
- easy to pour
- has high bonding strength to other materials
In both of these examples, CarpenterStone lightweight was poured directly over a structural subflooring. A EarthBond Overlay hardcoat topping was then poured over the underlayment to provide a strong, abrasion resistant topping. This was poured over the underlayment the next morning.
