Overview
Because we supply building materials to the trade, whether an item can be returned depends on the type of product. This policy explains the general rules; your order or account agreement controls if it differs.
Stock items
Unused, undamaged stock items in original, unopened packaging may be returned within [30] days of delivery. A restocking fee of [up to 25%] may apply, and original and return freight are non-refundable. Proof of purchase and prior authorization are required.
Custom, made-to-order and cut-to-size items
Items manufactured, fabricated, cut or finished to your specifications, and special-order items brought in for your project, are non-returnable and non-cancelable once production or the special order has begun — except where they arrive damaged, defective, or not as ordered due to our error.
Damaged, defective or short shipments
Inspect every delivery on arrival. Note any visible damage or shortage on the delivery receipt and report it to us within [48 hours] with photos and your order number. Concealed damage should be reported within [5] days of delivery. For qualifying items, we will repair, replace, or issue a credit.
How to start a return
Contact us with your order number, the items, and the reason. We will confirm eligibility and, if approved, provide a return authorization and instructions. Returns sent without authorization may be refused.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned goods are received and inspected, less any restocking fee and non-refundable freight. Please allow a reasonable processing period.
Items that cannot be returned
Custom, cut-to-size, finished-to-spec and special-order items; closeouts and clearance; used, installed or modified goods; and items without original packaging — except where required by law or covered by our Warranty.
